These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Terrain mobile application ("Terrain", "the app"), operated by Loam & Slate LLC. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old (and old enough to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction) to use Terrain. By using the app you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the app only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
Terrain helps you record and review wellness information, including potential allergens in foods and products. Product, nutrition, and allergen data is drawn from third-party sources and automated analysis and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on Terrain to determine whether a food or product is safe for you. Always verify ingredients yourself and consult your healthcare provider, especially if you have severe allergies.
The app, including its design, content, and branding, is owned by its operator and protected by applicable laws. You retain ownership of the content and entries you create; you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate and provide the app's features.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of information. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information will be complete or correct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app, including reliance on any health, nutrition, or allergen information.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
